Pablo Elliott and Esther Mandelheim Elliott
Located off US 29, near US 15, just minutes from Gainesville
The Stoney Lonesome Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) Farm has been in the Elliot family since 1971. At present the farm utilizes two of the ninety acres to grow organic vegetables, herbs and flowers appropriate to the season. The farm is supported by shareholder members who receive a weekly basket of produce from the farm. Some also contribute time, working in the garden preparing the produce for pickup. Stoney Lonesome is a living demonstration of small-scale organic vegetable production.
This is the farm to visit if you want to learn how to increase the yield of your vegetable garden and understand the benefits of organic gardening. You might be able to buy produce as well during the farm tour. Stoney Lonesome will be open to visitors from noon-4 p.m. on Sunday only.
