Who can resist these gentle and cuddly critters? Meet alpacas of all colors and learn how they are cared for. These alpacas have outgoing dispositions, which come from the owners' daily interactions with the gentle animals. _Alpacas originated in South America's Andes Mountains. They are relatives of llamas and camels.
Alpacas are raised for their fleece, a fiber that is ultra soft, super warm and insulating and hypo-allergenic. Alpaca yarn as well as alpaca fiber products such as mittens, socks and blankets will be on display and for sale during the farm tour.
