Stop 11 - PWC Brentville Historic Center
12229 Bristow Rd., Bristow VA 20136

Learn about the skills that were necessary in everyday life on a Prince William County farmstead in the 1800s at the restored Haislip-Hall Farmhouse. Visitors can meet the farm animals and the people who will be interpreting history as though they were living it.
Children can try their hands at cracking corn in a mortar and pestle, making corn husk dolls and using natural ingredients to dye period clothing. 703-365-7895
Visitors are welcome to take a self-guided tour of the Historic Centre grounds and to relax at tables with or without a picnic. The grounds lend themselves to sitting a spell and contemplating how farming today compares with how our ancestors completed their tasks.
