Stoney Lonesome Farm

Farm Tour visitors to Stoney Lonesome Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) Farm will be able to taste some of the farm's fresh harvest picked the morning of Sunday, Sept. 25. Stoney Lonesome will be open to visitors from noon-4 p.m. on that Sunday only.

The farm has been in the Elliott family since 1971. Stoney Lonesome is entering its eighth season operated by owner Pablo Elliott with help from an intern manager. Four of the farm's 92 acres are used to grow organic vegetables, herbs and flowers appropriate to the season. The farm is supported by shareholders, each of whom receives a weekly basket of produce from the farm. Some also contribute time, working in the garden and preparing the produce for pickup.

Stoney Lonesome is a living demonstration of small-scale organic vegetable production. Learn how to increase the yield of your vegetable garden and understand the benefits of organic gardening. You may be able to buy produce as well during the farm tour.
